1.  This site is provided as a public service by the The Chroma Group, Ltd. and thechromagroup.org (hereinafter collectively referred to as "TCG").
2.  Information presented on TCG public pages is considered public information and may be freely viewed, distributed or copied, however, the use of appropriate authorship/byline/image credits is required.
3.  Anything contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the use of The Chroma Group, Ltd. logo, the words "The Chroma Group, Ltd.", the initials "TCG", or any colorable imitation of such words, initials, or logo in connection with any merchandise, impersonation, solicitation, or commercial activity in a manner reasonably calculated to convey the impression that such use is approved, endorsed, or authorized by the The Chroma Group, Ltd. is expressly forbidden.
4.  For site management, information is collected for statistical purposes.  This computer network uses software programs to create summary statistics, which are used for such purposes as assessing what information is of most and least interest, determining technical design specifications, and identifying system performance or problem areas.
5   Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, no other attempts are made to identify individual users or their usage habits.  Raw data logs are used for no other purposes and are scheduled for regular destruction in accordance with National Archives and Records Administration General Schedule 20.
6.  For security purposes, and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this computer network employs software programs which monitor network traffic in order to identify unauthorized attempts to login into secured resources, to upload or change information, or to otherwise cause damage, including attempts to deny service to authorized users.  All data collection activities are in strict accordance with United States Federal Statutes.
7.  Any electronic mail received by, or transmitted through, this network which attempts to perpetrate a fraud, either directly or indirectly including, but not limited to, the act of pretexting the originating "From:*" and/or "Reply to:*" headers as being an email address or addresses belonging to this domain (thechromagroup.org) shall be subject to extensive network forensics by the Office of Information Assurance and forwarded to the Legal Department for disposition. In addition to fraud, these communications abuse or flood network resources and, as such, qualify under applicable statutes as malicious network attacks.
8.  Any unauthorized activity as set forth above, or attempts to download and/or copy non-public or secured content without authorization are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986, as amended, and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act.
9.  PUBLIC NOTICE:  Due to the sensitive nature of the work performed by this organization TCG has adopted an extremely aggressive policy of fully pursuing and prosecuting, under both U.S. and multi-national criminal and civil statutes, any parties engaged in and/or facilitating such unauthorized activities as are set forth herein - in particular those which are transnational, interstate, or otherwise cross-border in nature.  Any intermediary or facilitating party(ies), including, but not limited to internet service providers, email service providers, hosting providers, internet domain registrars and/or domain name server providers which are determined by our network forensics to fall within the offending data path or stream, and which do not take timely action, once notified, to cause such unauthorized and/or malicious communications to cease and desist are automatically deemed to be prima facie complicit with the original perpetrator(s) when undertaking said prosecutions.  Further, in the absence of timely and effective action being taken by any originating or complicit parties (as defined above) within the allotted time given in constructive notice to said parties TCG may, in its sole discretion, undertake any and all defensive measures as may be requisite to end said malicious network attacks or threats at the source location(s) of the originating and/or facilitating network computing resource(s) being employed or utilized including, but not limited to, extra-judicial defensive measures intended to permanently disable said network resource(s) at the software and/or hardware level.
TCG allows a period of twenty-four (24) hours from the timestamp of any notice to aforesaid involved parties for action to be taken before pursuing any and all remedies of which we may avail ourselves as herein set forth.
10.  Information provided though feedback mechanisms or other communication is strictly voluntary and will be forwarded to the appropriate offices to respond to a specific request or otherwise conduct business within the organization.  Excluding bona fide law enforcement investigations no personal data is ever shared with third parties.
11. Cookie Disclaimer - TCG does not use persistent cookies (persistent tokens that pass information back and forth from the client machine to the server).  TCG may use session cookies (tokens that remain active only until you close your browser) in order to make the site easier to use.  TCG DOES NOT keep a database of information obtained from these cookies.
12. All of the aforesaid policies contained herein constitute constructive notice to the general public and shall be construed in accordance with applicable statutes in force under the United States Code, as amended.  The voiding of any one, or more, of these provisions shall have no force and effect on the remaining provisions.
